While we endeavor to keep our costs as affordable and as accessible for patients our costs are aligned with the recommended guidelines.
Does Dr Puhalla participate Gap-Cover or No-Gap cover?
Due to the high costs of long term follow up, Dr Puhalla does not participate in gap-cover or no-gap. Our prices reflect the expertise and quality of Dr Puhalla’s services and his team.
Can I use my spouse/partner's superannuation to pay for surgery?
Yes you can, however you do need your partners permission to access the funds.
What is the estimated timeframe from initial consultation to surgery?
This will depend if you are accessing superannuation or not. The process for early release of superannuation is between 6 – 8 weeks. If you are covered under your private health insurance and have funds readily available, surgery can be booked from 2 – 4 weeks from consultation provided there are no requirements for pre-operative investigations.
What are my out of pocket costs?
We aren’t able to provide out of pocket costs as each health fund will rebate different amounts however we can provide you with the up-front costs. Please contact our friendly team and we can provide more information.
