Robotic Surgery – DaVinci

Robotic surgery is an advanced form of “keyhole” surgery where the surgeon controls thin robotic arms and a tiny camera from a console, rather than standing directly over you. The camera gives a magnified 3D view inside the body, and the robotic arms copy the surgeon’s hand movements, but with extra steadiness and precision. The robot does not work by itself – the surgeon is in full control the whole time.
