Keyhole Surgery
Laparoscopic surgery is a technique where the surgeon makes a few tiny cuts instead of one big one, then uses a small camera and long instruments to operate while watching a video screen. The belly is gently filled with gas to create space so the surgeon can see and move safely. A hernia defect can be closed, or a diseased organ (e.g. gallbladder) can be removed through one of the small cuts.

Faster recovery and shorter hospital stay
